About these rankings

Best in LA publishes local business guides under the Best in LA Editorial byline. This page covers how the site is funded and how we handle affiliations.

Rankings can't be bought

No business can pay for a better score or rank. Editorial selections may change list order, as explained in our methodology. There are no affiliate links on this site. We do not use other publishers' sponsored placements (for example their “Featured Partner” labels) when we score a shop.

Promotional placements

The Featured Partner cards were removed on October 29, 2026. Businesses remain in the editorial lists. Removing promotional cards does not change any business relationship or the source of a review.

Advertising and sponsorships

If we take advertising, sponsorships or affiliate commissions, this page and every affected listing will say so.

Corrections

We fix factual errors (addresses, hours, closures, ratings) as soon as we confirm them. See the corrections policy.
